Applejump

The running of the leaves is a great tradition, and Applejack isn't wanting for physical exercise what with the farm-work and all, but sometimes, y'just gotta go for a run right now.

More old art, and more not-drawing-Applejack's-hat. In keeping with the idea of experimenting a tiny teeny bit with every thing I do, I tried two "new" things with this one. One was to do a background really quickly, the other was to switch to black lineart. Up 'til this point I'd been doing coloured lineart, MLP canon style, but I will freely admit that black lineart looks really good. Not to say I'm never doing coloured LA again, but eh.

Also, I drew a jumping pony and it doesn't look like crap. That actually amazed me. The pose was kinda meant to be secondary to the lineart colour experiment, but when her pose translated from sketch to lineart, well. I'll take it, y'know?

Less thrilled about the BG as a result. It happens!
