WTG Week 12-Mare on a Mission The pony crawled under the searchlights, desperately trying to avoid being spotted. This was her only shot at redemption; the mission depended on her success and she couldn't let the Mayor down. Not this time. Not again.
She had failed Mayor Mare last year, and the extra weather duties were killing her. How could anypony be expected to work multiple hours every day? She could hardly fit in more than four naps into her weekday schedule now. The mare squeezed under the barbed wire, clearing the menacing obstacle with less than half a nose to spare.
What was the big idea anyway? Sure, this was pretty much as fun as stuff got outside of Pinkie's parties. Well, and flying. Not being able to use her wings sucked. Still, her heart was racing and she couldn't keep from grinning as she snuck deeper into enemy territory. Most of her enemies were well behind her now. The darkness was her veil. The coal dust she'd had in her m
