Some days are fine, some days are tolerable, some days are urgh. Urgh isn't just a word, it's a concept that encompasses every single part of existence, and is best contemplated while at complete rest.

It's nothing remarkable as far as results go, and I don't like the way the ears look anymore. It's a success as far as what I set out to do, though. I wanted to find a reasonable look for Sugarcoat's mane and tail when affected by gravity, and poke at a rather unusual angle/pose combo. I had good references for this, though, and I couldn't have done it without them. The whole splotch of ground colour looks far less elegant now, a few months later.
Time passes, and I am trash. I had this idea of going through my older-but-still-recent art at a steady rate, but I encountered some obstacles. Forgetfulness, real life, exams and a pressing desire to not actually post anything for a bit.

I think the posing here is pretty good. It looks really natural, like this is how the tail and mane would fall, and that strikes me as pretty hard to pull off given the position here.
